12 Rods는 한국엔 거의 정보가 없는 밴드입니다

미국에서 12 Rods가 한창 활동하던 시절에 저는 막 태어났었죠

그 당시 미국에서도 크게 유명한 밴드는 아니었지만요

당연하게도 저와 전혀 연관이 없을 것처럼 보이는 이 밴드,

저는 이 밴드의 음악을 들을 때면 느껴지는 이상한 노스탤지어가 있습니다

90년대 말에서 00년대 초반의 어떤 아련한 감성이 이 음악에 살아 숨쉬죠

더 구체적으로 얘기해보자면,

마치 제가 그 당시에 이 음악을 엄청 즐겨 듣던 추억이 있는 청년이었던 것 같은

그런 말도 안 되는 느낌이 든답니다
