예술과 기술의 교차점에서 미래의 아트와 기술, 그리고 인간에 대한 질문을 던지는 컨퍼런스, "글로벌 Art & Tech 컨퍼런스 FuturaCanvas 2025"가 지난 해 성공적으로 행사를 마치고 올해 더욱 발전한 모습으로 돌아옵니다.
At the intersection of art and technology, the "Global Art & Tech Conference FuturaCanvas 2025" returns this year, more evolved than ever, after successfully concluding last year's event. This conference poses thought-provoking questions about the future of art, technology, and humanity.
Theme of 2025
퓨추라캔버스 2025는 ‘불멸의 아바타: 알고리즘 인류’를 주제로, 인공지능과 블록체인이 만들어내는 새로운 정체성과 믿음의 방식을 살펴볼 예정입니다.
FuturaCanvas 2025, under the theme “Revival Avatar: Algorithmic Mythology,” explores how artificial intelligence and blockchain technologies are reshaping our identity and the ways we believe.
믿음은 더 이상 ‘내 안에서’만 형성되지 않는다.
우리가 보는 것, 선택하는 것, 말하는 방식까지도 알고리즘이 설계하고 데이터로 저장한다. 지금 이 순간에도 우리는 기술과 함께 또 다른 존재로 변화하고 있는 중이다.
‘아바타’는 단순한 가상 캐릭터가 아니라, 기술 환경 속에서 다시 태어난 또 다른 ‘나’이다.
인간과 기술의 경계에서 재구성된 새로운 자아이며, 우리가 디지털 환경 속에서 살아가는 또 다른 방식이다.
Belief is no longer formed solely within ourselves.
What we see, choose, and the way we speak are all shaped by algorithms and stored as data. Even now, we are continuously evolving into new kinds of beings—alongside technology.
The “avatar” is not merely a virtual character—it is a redefined self, reborn within a technological environment.
It represents a reconfigured identity at the boundary between humans and machines, a hybrid mode of being in the digital age.
아트&테크 분야 아티스트, 학생, 연구자, 크리에이터, 기획자, 마케터, 브랜드/기업 관계자, 개발자, 생태계 빌더 등 다양한 참가자들이 모여 지금 우리가 무엇을 믿고 어떻게 사유해야 하는지 함께 고민해보는 자리가 될 수 있기를 바랍니다.
We hope this will be an opportunity for all participants — including artists, students, researchers, creators, planners, marketers, brand/corporate representatives, developers, ecosystem/culture builders from the art & tech sectors — can come together to reflect on what we believe and how we think.

예술·기술·사람 사이의 '시너지' 혹은 '동기화'
올해에는 키프로그램 '씬-퍼런스(Syn-ference)'로 연사 및 아티스트와 참여자가 더 긴밀하게 연결되는 참여형 컨퍼런스를 새롭게 선보일 예정이며, 씬퍼런스에서는 예술, 기술, 그리고 사람이 서로 시너지를 내고 동기화되는 순간을 직접 경험할 수 있습니다.
This year, we’re introducing a new participatory format called "Syn-ference", Synference speakers and participants connect more intimately than ever before. It offers a space to directly experience the moments when art, technology, and humanity synchronize and generate powerful synergy.
9월 25일, 26일 각기 다른 세부 주제를 담은 퓨추라캔버스에서 분야, 국가, 관심사를 넘어 다양한 흐름을 공유하고 새로운 변화를 함께 그릴 수 있기를 희망합니다.
FuturaCanvas on September 25 and 26, each day will feature a different sub-theme. We hope it will be a space where people from different fields, countries, and interests can come together to share diverse currents of thought and co-create new forms of change.
