How was your weekend? I made huge Chuseok meal in the weekend.

✔︎ 추석이 뭐예요? / What is Chuseok? 

추석 is one of the biggest national holiday in Korea.

It’s every August 15th of the lunar year. This year, Chuseok is 10th Oct and we celebrate it for 3 days. In Chuseok, families get together, share foods  and make wishes under the full moon. (So romantic, right? 🌝)

🍓 송편 Songpyeon (A half-moon-shaped rice cake)

     👉 추석에는 송편을 먹어요.  

     In Chuseok, we eat Songpyeon. 

🍓 보름달 Full moon

     👉 추석에는 보름달 아래에서 소원을 빌어요. 

     In Chuseok, we make wishes under the full moon.
