제가 이 뉴스레터를 발행한 것엔 많은 이유가 있습니다.
자주 연락을 하지 못하는 이들에게 제가 어떤 프로젝트들을 진행하고 있는지 알려주기 위해서, 최근에 가까워진 이들에게 제가 과거에 어떤 프로젝트를 했는지 알려주기 위해서 그리고 제가 어떤 생각을 하고 있는지 가까운 이들에게 알려주고 싶어서 등... 다양한 이유가 있습니다.
하지만 저는 제 개인정보가 너무 많이 돌아다니는 것을 반기지 않습니다. 그렇기 때문에 이 뉴스레터는 오직 20명 남짓한 인원들에게만 발행되고 있습니다. 제 나름의 선별 기준이 있었고, 모든 것은 아니지만 저에 대한 많은 이야기를 해도 괜찮다는 생각이 든 분들에게만 뉴스레터를 발행하는 것이었습니다.
그렇기 때문에 처음에 뉴스레터 링크를 드릴 때, 뉴스레터를 구독 신청할 때, 뉴스레터에 들어갔을 때까지 총 3번 이 뉴스레터가 존재하는 사실을 비밀로 해달라는 부탁을 드렸었습니다.
그런데 안타깝게도 최근에 제가 뉴스레터를 보내지 않은 주변 지인들이 제 뉴스레터에 대해 알고 있다는 사실을 알게 되었습니다. 자세히 이야기를 들어보니 악의적으로 제 뉴스레터에 대한 내용을 누군가가 얘기하고 다닌 것은 아니라고 판단했습니다. 단지 제가 3번이나 뉴스레터의 존재를 비밀로 해달라고 했음에도 불구하고 그걸 잊고 얘기를 하고 다녔던 것 같습니다.
이 뉴스레터는 저의 안전 공간입니다. 저와 많이 가깝더라도 1%라도 저에게 피해가 갈 가능성이 있는 분들은 배제한 공간입니다.
여러분들이 생각하기에 저와 가까운 사람이 제 뉴스레터에 있다는 보장은 전혀 할 수 없습니다. 애시당초 뉴스레터 인원을 구성할 때 최대한 서로 접점이 없는 사람들로 선별을 했습니다.
그러니 다시 한 번 부탁드리겠습니다. 이 뉴스레터의 존재는 비밀로 해주세요. 저와 단 둘이 있을 때가 아니라면 이 뉴스레터에 대해 언급하지 말아주세요.
혹시라도 제 뉴스레터를 구독하고 있는 것에 부담감을 느낀다면 언제든 구독을 취소하셔도 괜찮습니다. 저 또한 편한 마음으로 뉴스레터를 쓰고, 받았으면 합니다.

There are many reasons why I published this newsletter.
I wanted to let people know what projects I've been working on, to let people I've been close to lately know what projects I've been working on in the past, and to let people close to me know what I'm thinking.
There are various reasons. But I don't like my personal information going around too much. That's why this newsletter is only being published to over 20 people.
I had my own screening criteria, and I was only publishing newsletters to those who thought it was okay to talk a lot about me, but not everything. So when I first gave you a link to the newsletter, when I subscribed to it, and when I entered the newsletter, I asked you to keep it a secret three times in total.
Unfortunately, however, I recently discovered that my acquaintances who didn't send me the newsletter knew about it. After hearing the details, I decided that no one was maliciously talking about my newsletter. I think I forgot and talked about it even though I asked for the existence of the newsletter three times.
This newsletter is my safe space. Even if it's very close to me, it's a space that excludes people who have a 1% chance of harming me.
I can't guarantee that someone close to me is in my newsletter at all. In the first place, we selected people who had no contact with each other as much as possible when we formed the number of newsletters.
So please do it again. Please keep this newsletter a secret. Please don't mention this newsletter unless you are alone with me.
