 < 파란 식탁 >의 마중물 ,영화  < 만인의 아이 >

프롤로그 : 

  내가 영화를 선택하는 조건은, 아니 조건 없이 자연스럽게 그것을 본다.

보통은 영화를 시작하는 첫 화면에서 결정되는 편이다.

줄거리보다는 색감, 표정, 여백 등이 질감 등에 의해 선택된다.

 영화를 본 후 한 달이 지나고 있음에도

 바다와, 파랑, 혼자 사는 남자와 결혼을 앞 둔 여자의 파편들이 설거지를 하다가,

고양이 털을 빗어주다가, 저녁을 먹고 마당을 걸으면서도 파랗게 흩어 다녔다.

나는 붉은 타자기 앞에 앉아 그 파편들을  받아 적었다.  .

그것이 나의 짧은 첫 소설 형식의 이야기가 시작되는 시점이 되었다.

 < 파란 식탁 > 

 바닷가에 사는 남자는 아들이 있다.  

결혼을 하지 못한 남자가 아들을 위해

저녁을 차린다.  혼자 사는 여자가 바다로 들어간다.

여자는 방금 막 결혼식장에서 달려나온 참이다.  

바다에서 나온 여자가 돌부리와 나뭇가지에 뜯긴 웨딩드레스 밑단을

두손으로 비틀어짠다.  ......

영화에 대한 한줄  : 가족을 이루지 못한 자들의 식탁.

그들은 서로의 앞에 파란 그릇을 밀어준다.

에필로그 : 

  뉴스레터를 발행하는 것은 여러 차례의 시도와 수정을 거쳤다.

아직은  구조와  구성이 

체계를 잡기 전이다. 

숨쉬기는 지속될 수 밖에 없다.

She has just fled from a wedding  that has only just concluded.

At the table, the man - who could not mary - and his son wring out the hem

of the woman’s torn blue wedding dress with their bare hands.

The woman, who escapd from the wedding, eats dinner at the table.

With hands stained blue by the peeled skin of potatoes, torn

by stones and branches, she fixes her gaze upon the window.  

The sea gives birth to a child, hiding the blue ocean bebeath its black,

oily surface.  The child, with blue hands, blue arms, and a blue face,

peels a potato, casting their gaze toward the window. 

Beneath the black oil of the sea, the ocean is hiding a belly swollen with blue.
