Hello, and welcome to the second issue of IP Radar. Today, Oct 26, registration for the third corporate training course on IP-based overseas export competitiveness closes at 14:00, and the 4th call for the K-Brand Government Certification program closes at 18:00. Entries for the 2026 Seoul International Invention Fair have been extended to 17:00 on Oct 28. This issue leads with the 6th call for the risk response track of the IP Risk Response Capacity Program for Export-Challenger Companies, which closes Oct 30 at 16:00.

The Ministry of Intellectual Property (MOIP) and the Korea Intellectual Property Protection Agency (KOIPA) have announced the 6th call for the risk response track of the 2026 IP Risk Response Capacity Program for Export-Challenger Companies. Applications close on Oct 30 at 16:00. For eligibility, support details, and how to apply, check the attached notice.
Why this one. There is still time this week to prepare the documents. If your company has an IP issue with an overseas partner or competitor that it has put off because of cost, this 6th call may be a chance to act on it before year-end.
Who should act. IP managers at exporting SMEs and startups should take the lead. University industry-cooperation offices and technology transfer professionals who support exporting companies can forward the notice to those clients.
Three practical steps
1. Check the attached notice for eligibility, scope of support, and the exact closing time.
2. Summarize the overseas IP dispute or risk you are facing and prepare the documents the notice requires.
3. Submit your application before the Oct 30 deadline at 16:00 and confirm that it was received.
