Artist's Note We are sometimes caught in a gaze without reason. Simply because it was seen first, it carries an unintended weight. But that gaze does not linger long. It scatters like the wind, and what remains is ultimately only the texture of my lived life. ใ€ŠBlack Swan Exhibitionใ€‹reveals existence through negative painting and land art, using traces of absence and momentary voids. It is an exhibition that leaves โ€œthe irony of attentionโ€”brief yet heavyโ€ upon the earth, then lets it fade away within nature. The black swan, with its different feathers, always catches the eye first, yet that gaze is fleeting. In this exhibition, I sought to express that โ€œmomentary weightโ€ not by painting it directly, but through absence and traces. The void left on the earth, the empty space in the sand, the circular emptiness in the forest, the scratch in the snowfield. All bear the fate of vanishing, and it is precisely this transience that mirrors the essence of the gaze we experience. The black swan is ultimately not about existence, but about how we perceive ourselves. I worked not with the traces left by the gaze, but with the hope that life might be lived as the condensation gathered within me.
